Letitia (Tish) Katherine Baldridge was  Jackie Kennedy Social Secretary from Inauguration until she left in June of 1963. She was good friends with Sanford Fox. Liz Carpenter took over as Jackie's social secretary in June of 1963. This is a parting gift from Tish to Sandy.  It is a sterling silver coaster  made by Baltimore silversmith S. Kirk & son. The back read Sterling 14 and a number etched 874840 below the 14.  The Front reads "Sandy the Great" LKB June 19...63. It comes in its original box which has a lot of foxing. but has its also original little sack made of felt in great shape. The seller was Galt & Bros. Washington DC. which just closed a few years ago.This is from the Sanford Fox collection. Mr Fox was head of the social entertainments office Kennedy-Ford.
