Way Out West by Sonny Rollins - with Ray Brown and Shelly Manne. One of our favorite albums from Rollins' early years - Great takes on cowboy standards ("I'm An Old Cowhand" and "Wagon Wheels") as well as Rollins' original title tune. Ray Brown and Shelly Manne are great backing for Sonny. Contemporary Records M3530. This is the second mono pressing, 1959. Yellow deep groove labels.
Vinyl is NM-. Only a couple of light marks. Plays beautifully. Jacket NM-. Remains of a price sticker... over the title. Small reddish stamp of some kind on the corner of the back cover. Nice seams, nice spine. Nice shiny jacket.
