I have been selling amber fossils for over 10 years on eBay and do not sell fake amber only genuine material from now extinct plant sources not glass or plastic embedded with present day inclusions.Burmite (Burmese) amber is difficult to acquire and has been dated to be Cretaceous in age (around 100 million years old) and would have been sticky resin during the time of the dinosaurs and is being mined in the Hukawng Valley in Myanmar(Burma).In&nbs...p;December of 2016, a portion of the tail of a small dinosaur was reported in a piece of burmite amber!In June 2017, a nearly complete extinct bird was reported in this material!This is a nice parcel of 4 fully polished pieces of Burmite (Burmese) amber that each contains a fossil inclusion from the time of the dinosaurs.The fossils include a piece with a large spider exuvium (shed exoskeleton), the spider had hairy legs!, another piece with a portion of a bristletail (its hind end resembles a bird's claw!, the third piece has a fungus gnat and the fourth piece has a fly. It is fascinating to note that these organisms were around when dinosaurs were still walking the Earth! They make for a most unique conversation piece.Pleasesee my other resin fossils including Dominican amber with inclusions, largeColombian copal with inclusions, and very rare Indonesian ambers (some oflovely blue and green color).The pieces weigh a total of 2.2 grams with dimensions between 1.1 and 1.9 cm length. However, many amber sources or even specimens will not float in saltwater as their botanical (plant) composition as well as fossil inclusions are such that they are more dense than saltwater and so sink. I do not sell fake amber. My feedback should help demonstrate this.
