I am offering on Buy It Now a mid century planter featuring a wide-eyed donkey pulling a cart. This ceramic planter is stamped 1956 with an L & M copyright on the bottom. It measures 8 1/2" long X 5" high. The donkey is wearing a red sombrero and is gaily painted. The cart is decorated with a leafy vine and pink and black dots. The donkey's tail is attached to the cart and it looks rather uncomfortable. There is an 1 1/2" hairline on the interior beginning at the planter rim. It ca...n be seen in the pictures. Other than that issue there is little wear and tear. Overall this old ceramic collectible is in fine condition and will be carefully packed for safe shipping.
