This Violet Ray Generator was made by White & Cross and promises promises to cure everything from baldness to wrinkles to gray hair. This is one of the quack medicine technologies that were prevalent during the 1920's, when this was made. The manual is included and gives instructions, but does say that it is not a "cure-all".
The violet ray technique was created by Leslie D. Smith, M.D. The generator and three electrodes are included: the surface, the comb and the external... throat.
This product was was tested and the generator works.
The interior, which is in very good condition, is lined in "Royal Purple Art Satin." All the pieces seem to be present. The cord has been repaired but is working without shorting.
