Up for sale is this lovely original Victorian Natural History watercolor painting of a bird with a pencil drawing background. The painting is mounted on a piece of paper; the painting's corners are inserted into slits in the paper. The painting can easily be removed from the matting. It is a small painting which measures approximately 5 7/8 inches by 5 1/2 inches; the paper matting measures approximately 9 inches by 7 3/8 inches. I'm unsure of the exact date, bu...t it is circa the 1800's. All in all a really beautiful Natural History original piece of Victorian artwork.
