This is original and held in my inventory since WWII. The grease guns are the genuine issue for the Willy's and other WWII jeeps, as well as some of the other military vehicles. These aren't made anymore and if you have a jeep from that era or are restoring, this is the real deal. Why have a no...n authentic when you can buy the real McCoy?
This model is Genuine Alemite and this model doesn't come with the grease zerk hole. It is probably a bulk feed style. It will sell cheaply because of this feature. This comes with a non-genuine tip and metal tube. The originals seemed to have all been broken off and discarded during the process of sending them back to the States. However, I have listings of original used tips in another offer as well as other brands of original grease guns such as Aro, Lincoln, Graco and other Alemite models.
It is in working order and complete. The condition is fair to good, with some light rust, grease and scrapes. I don't clean the original grease, exterior or interior in order to keep the original patina. I will leave that up to the customer. Please don't hesitate, because these are becoming extremely rare.
