I call this my little Frankenstein Uk. I have owned it for a few years but need to thin my collection a bit. This little guy has got some issues but all cosmetic. It plays wonderfully as all Kamakas do. It appears that at one point there was quite a bit of damage on the lower section of the body as shown. Someone filled it with wood putty and stained it. I purchased it like this thinking maybe one day I could give it a face lift. To many projects. Anyway this little guy is ...a soprano with 12 frets. Gold label hand made in Hawaii. The neck is straight and the bridge looks fine. Solid neck joint. the tuners look fine also. Please ask all questions before purchase as this is an as-is sale. No case.
