We ship several times a week and your prompt payment will hasten the turn-around time. What a RARE find, an EYE REMEDY bottle in this all original condition! THIS BOTTLE IS FROM THE TIME WHEN Eye water was promoted as a 'CURE' or 'REMEDY'. Back then, as with so many of the other quack medicine products on the market, eye water wasn't just a medicine or an eye water, but it was advertised as a REMEDY and CURE, that supposedly cured all kinds of diseases of the eyes including blindness and loss of sight. A classic example here, the small print on the label claims it was for Inflammation, Sties, and what is most interesting about it is that this was a remedy that was to be used EXTERNALLY or INTERNALLY. It is the first old EYE REMEDY type patent medicine bottle that was to be taken internally ... to remedy eye problems. Usually eye remedies were in the form of liquid drops that were put in the eyes but these tablets were to be taken internally?! Many of the collectors of these antique Eye Remedy bottles are Optometrists and Medical Doctors themselves, as they are building collections that show the evolution of the eye medicine history. This is a classic example that would look super excellent in a display case stationed in the waiting room or office of an eye specialist, check it out!Terms of Sale: Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction.
