Collectors of Vintage Sinclair Oil Refining Petroliana and Industrial Americana will love this VINTAGE 1920 SINCLAIR OIL REFINING 5 GAL PLEATED GAS/OIL CAN made by DAVIS WELDING & Mfg. The obvious rusty patina of the pleated sidewalls and Sinclair embossments prove that this 5 Gallon Can is Pre "Sinclair Dinosaur" advertising. Patent dates shown on the cap prove this item to have been made in 1920's. There are 2 very interesting metal Plates&...nbsp;displayed on the neck of this can which are shown in the photos. Also shown is the embossed "Sinclair" on the collar of the can. This 100 year old item has a few dents to one side but they do not destroy the visual aesthetics when displayed. In fact they enhance it's character. Enjoy the photos. Shipping is a little high because this can measures 23 1/2" tall by 10 1/2" in diameter (see photo with pop can for reference). Weight of this can is around 15 pounds with box. I will pass along any shipping discounts I may get. What a great Christmas Gift idea for the Man Cave, Steam Punk setting or Rat Rod enthusiast.
