THIS IS A LARGE BRONZE ROMAN RING WITH THE HEAD OF THE EMPEROR TRAJAN--98--117 AD. SHOWING ON THE BEZEL. IT WAS FOUND METAL DETECTING IN EUROPE. I HAVE ONLY LIGHTLY CLEANED, THEN POLISHED THE RING TO REVEAL ITS ORIGINAL GOLDEN COLOUR AND IT IS STILL VERY SOLID AND HEAVY AND IS FULLY INTACT AND WEARABLE. THE RING IS APROX A SIZE '11' IN THE U.S. WHICH IS A SIZE 'V 1/2' IN THE U.K. AND IT WEIGHS AN IMPRESSIVE 20 GRAMS.I HAVE INCLUDED A COUPLE OF PICTURES OF THE RING BEFORE CLEANING TO SH...OW ITS PATINA.               A GREAT RING TO ADD TO ANY COLLECTION.
