This item has a good deal of dirt and wear from use and storage. It is sold for parts or repair because it is not currently functional. The valves are completely seized and have a sticky substance that leaked out. The pieces that pull out are stuck and I do not want to try too hard to remove them for fear of doing more damage. The cornet has finish loss and dents. I'm not certain but it appears to be silver plated brass. The mute is heavily dented and the cork likely needs to be replac...ed prior to use. The mouthpieces have finish loss but appear to be functional. The case is in rough shape. This listing is for the items pictured and does not include anything additional not shown in the pictures.
