Excellent condition land document. This document was issued less than one month before he was assassinated! 81 acres of land, west of Mount Diablo Meridian California is granted to Charles Grossmann by William McKinley. I do not know if this was signed by McKinley or his secretary, my research shows that since his secretary's name appears after his, that "William McKinley" may have been signed by the secretary. This is not a copy, it is the original 1901 land grant, hand signed. Size is about 16" x 10".
