The scrapbook is full of tickets from the 1933 Century of Progress in Chicago. I counted 202 tickets plus two full ticket book - one booklet is for a child General Admission for 1934 and the other booklet is for the Belgian Village, Spanish Village and Swiss Village. The scrapbook is in poor condition - some tickets have been torn out and there are many large holes in the pages. But the 202 tickets that remain are in excellent condition (they are all glued onto ...the pages). The rare tickets include the Daggett Roller Chair Company Juvenile Chair Rental (both the top portion and the refund portion), A Century of Progress Workman Permit - both portions, 4 Greyhound Bus tickets - both portions, a Pal-Waukee Airport Inc. Flight Ticket - both portions, a Walkathon Reserved Seat ticket - both portions, a Television Show ticket, a Skyride Complimentary Ticket, 3 Steamer Line Tickets (all three portions), an incubator ticket, a Ferris Wheel ticket, and many many, many more. Too many to list here. Just a great collection of tickets to add to your collection.
Domestic shipping and handling in the U.S. is $5.50. Foreign bidders are welcome with the shipping costs to be determined after the auction is finished. I will combine shipping. Illinois residents must pay Illinois Sales tax of 9.25%. I have decided to sell my collection of antiques (and other nice items), which I have been collecting for the past 30 years. Good luck with your bids.
