PLEASE READ! Here's another beauty from Johnny Blazer's Buried Treasures! This is the Hot Wheels Redline Olds 442 (Oldsmobile Cutlass released in 1971. When I got this car it had been taken apart and professionally chrome plated. Then I repainted it in a beautiful spectraflame purple. The paint is gorgeous, any imperfections are due to the lighting. It was put back together with my version of repo rivets.

Axles: original straightened
Wheels: touched up original capsSpoiler: repo
The base is also a plastic repo. The car has a solid hood on it so I'm betting it started it's life as a Chief's Special or Maxi Taxi. Also the front nose piece was broken off and I glued a new one in. With the dark purple on it, you can hardly tell. This car looks really sharp and if you've been wanting that minty purple Olds 442 but don't want to pay the ENORMOUS price tag, this one certainly looks good! DO NOT PASS IT UP!
