Original Description:
US Army WW2 Tanker Jacket. I don't believe this is regulation probably private purchase. It is period as indicated by the zipper and does not appear to be pieced together. The 88th patch is not affixed but did come with the jacket. No markings that I can find except a size tag in one of the pockets. The piece is fur lined. There is mothing on the cuffs and the hem but overall is in good shape. It is a heavy piece.
