These are ORIGINAL EARLY WW II U.S NAVY BLUE CANVAS DECK PANTS SIZE MEDIUM.The pants were worn by the sailors on ships and submarines to protectthem against the rain, cold and fowl weather. The deck pants are made of a heavyblue canvas type of material and has a dark blue / black wool lining forwarmth. These are the measurements I took. Waist 45 inches, Inseam 29 inches. On the front andback there is an attached bib for covering your chest and back. On the... frontbib there are 2 metal buttons (1 on each side) for attaching the suspenders tohold up the pants. On each side of the bib section there are 2 metal boot typebuckles for closure. On the back there is sewn on adjustable suspenderswith metal wire type of fasteners for attaching to the front plastic buttons. Onthe front it is stenciled U.S. NAVY. On the inside bib there is a sewn in label withthe following identification: NAVY DEPARTMENT, Contract NXSs 15449, SIZEMEDIUM. The U.S. Navy Deck Pants are in used very good condition.
