Super ready for Halloween, is my handmade Primitive Witch, "Zelda", and her Black Bat, faux Spider, and faux "Poisons" book. This is an indoor decoration, and not for children."Zelda" is my own creation and measures 25", from tip of hat to feet. She is made from muslin, which has been coffee-cinnamon-vanilla stained, then baked. Her face has been painted on, then sealed. I needle sculpted her nose. I made her a wig from bulky yarn, and it is sewn to her head. The witch hat is made... from Osnaburg, prim stained and dusted with cinnamon. It is lightly stuffed, has a sewn on faux spider at the tip, and sewn to her head.Look at that dress! It is a creepy Ouija Board print. She is wearing black pantaloons underneath. The tips of her hands and feet are painted black.Tucked in "Zelda's" arm, is my handmade Bat poke. It is also made from Osnaburg, prim stained and dusted with cinnamon. It has beaded eyes, and adorned with Halloween ribbon and rusty bells. A dab of glue is used to insert wooden poke into bat. This is the only glue used in this project. The Bat is 10" tall. "Zelda's" arm is secured to her dress with a ribbon loop, to hold Bat. Her arm can be removed from the loop, if you like.Added to this vignette, is a store bought faux fuzzy spider ( 4" x 7"), and faux "Poisons" Book, ( 3" x 5")."Zelda" is lightly weighted to sit, or can be hung. There is a reinforced, sewn on, metal loop, with jute, at the back of her hat, for easy hanging.Stand not included. "Zelda" and her friends will arrive with a Halloween hang tag, signed and dated by myself, pinned to her sleeve, with a rusty pin."Zelda" would love to spend the dark Halloween nights with you and your friends!
