Offered here is a wonderful and early light blue calico “Prairie Bonnet” in worn, as found condition.  It shows fading, small holes and stains.  In spite of these flaws it is a wonderful primitive antique bonnet perfect for hanging in your primitive home. It was made by a treadle sewing machine.I recently bought a trunk full of early clothes from an 1800’s farmhouse in Illinois that had been closed up for the past 30 years.  The family finally decided to empty the ...house and I bought many wonderful things.  The quilts dated from the 1870’s to the 1930’s and the entire house was like a time capsule.I have close to 20 pieces of clothing that I will be listing as time allows including several more bonnets.PAYPAL ONLY.
