Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:155496 | Country of Manufacture: Germany |
These are an early type of grips issued by the Allgemeine Electricitats-Gesellschaft (AEG) company before the mid-1943. The AEG grips which were issued after 1943 ha...d a different marking in the upper circle.
Made of dark brown bakelite. The grips have three circles (or round marks) on the inside. The upper ones have MPBD markings, with a company code 38 and a compounds classification marking Z3. The second circles are blank. The lowest circles contain a typical marking that could be found only on AEG grips: P 1529/1528 3. The grips have Waffenamt 359 marks indicating that the grips initially were produced for Walther-made P38. However, they could also be used on Mauser- or Spreewek-made P38s.
The grips are in very good condition considering their age. They are fully serviceable with no cracks or any other hidden defects. Come with an original screw. Please refer to the pics for more details. These are the actual items you will get.
