Early Chad Valley Sooty Teddy Bear c1950's .This Character Sooty Bear has been very well loved.His tummy squeaker no longer works.Sooty has two labels, one on his foot andthe other on his chest front.The labels are a little faint and frayed withmost of the lettering being quite readable.Label is much fainting on his foot and not so readable as the label on his chest.There is also another smaller label on his footwith the red lettering of D.J.V.Sooty has rexine paw padsthat do show wear... also.Teddy has quite a few bald patches throughout his mohairwith it also flatten and a bit grubby from played with handling.Sooty is jointed at arms and legs onlyand has brown glass eyes.This Sooty Bear is being sold as seenas a once cherish played with loved children's toybut for many years has been sitting amongst his friends.He does not stand naturally own his ownneeding loving support.Please email with any questions.
