Description: Vintage E.A. Stearns No. 22 Board Scale Rule, 2 Foot, 4 Fold, Fully Brass Bound - this rule is in great condition, it contains board measurements to calculate board feet and has regular fractional inches and architect's scales.  This is not an easy rule to find.  Stearns rules were considered the best made back in the 19th century. Condition: Fully readable, beautiful patina on the boxwood and brass. All brass pins are present, there is no damage, ...joints are tight, no bowing at all. The full brass binding is intact.Please seethe photos for the whole story.
