BULGARIAN GERMAN Original LuftschutzGLADIATOR HelmetThis German Luftschutz helmet, the so-called "Gladiator" typeM44, was used in Bulgaria during the WWII. These helmets were produced inGermany by order of Bulgarian army and designed to be used in the Army, AntiAir and Chemical Defense.
Helmet in good condition. No cracks, dents or holes, has two groups of sevenventilation holes to either side of the crown. Decal is worn + 60%
Interior of the helmet has a thr...ee pad, WWI style, leather liner and blackenedleather chinstraps. Liner and chin strapare in poor condition handling cracks or splits them. Large size. SEE PHOTOS
The reverse interior neck guard is stamped with Germans producer's mark RL 2 38/28. Good start in your collection if you don't haveone.Buyer pays actual shipping cost.
