Edwards" Also onthe back is written "N. W. Edwards", partially covered by the writingof an amount. About 8" x 3", irregularly torn / cut. I purchased thisautograph document signed from Seaport Autographs in January 1997. Ninian Wirt Edwards (1809-1889) in 1832marri...ed Elizabeth Todd, an older sister of Mary Todd, in Lexington, Kentucky. In 1835 they moved toSpringfield, Illinois, and in 1839 Mary visited them in Springfield, meetingAbraham Lincoln. In 1842, Mary andAbraham were married in the house of Ninian W. and Elizabeth inSpringfield. Shipping costs includeinsurance.
