James A. Garfield Stamp Signed Executive Mansion Card. 4" x 2.75". A scarce card with a stamped signature. An identical card is pictured in Executive Mansion, White House, and The White House Cards (Lynn E. Keyes and Stephen Koschal) with an explanation that Garfield sent these cards out in response to autograph requests when he first entered office. The...y were likely continued to be used after being shot by Guiteau during the months he spent in the hospital before dying. Although signed with a stamped signature, it remains one of the scarcest of presidential White House cards
Toning as pictured. Reverse has marks from having been glued in scrapbook. Priority Mail and insurance required
