Original Description:
These are original pieces of the White House removed during the Truman administration when the White House was remodeled and fortified.  Suspended in lucite are the presidential seal, a nail and two attractive pieces of marble.  I have seen other examples of these, but none with as attractive stones.   I do not like to call items I list perfect, but I honestly can not find a scratch or blemish anywhere on the lucite, and lucite scratches fairly easy. The condition is ama...zing for its age.  Pieces like this do not come along every day!
