Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below. This is an auction for: The Beatles - 1967-1970 - Double Blue Vinyl LP album 1978.
UK Pressing from 1978.
Double Blue Vinyl.
Vinyl Condition: G (Both records have a lot of sleeve marks and light scratches but are in pretty good condition and pl...ay well with nice sound. Some light crackle and the odd click/pop but no sticks or jumps. Side 2 has some scuffs and some small visible surface marks which cause some audible clicks and pops at the start of "I am the Walrus". It soon clears up is still enjoyable but may put off fussy listeners). Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (The first inner sleeve has an approx 7cm split to the bottom edge which has been touched up in blue pen. There is some slight wear to the left and right seams but not acutally split. Inner sleeve two has a very slight split to the bottom edge but is otherwise ok).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Gatefold sleeve has some light creases but is in very nice condition).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows: M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
