Cute Kestner 17" Mold #257 Antique Bisque doll with composition ball jointed body. Has brown sleep eyes that open and shut easily, lashes are thin (about 50% missing) coloring is nice. Has original pate and mohair wig. Light hairline crack on the back of head which is so thin hardly noticeable (view last image for closeup). Chubby composition body that is has some cracking on the right elbow (check image), and looks like a cryer box removed from the back. ...Also, can figure out why, looks looks like the torso has been sliced in half and put back together. Looks to be restrung. Doll hasn't had any work on it since I've had it for over 30 years. A black tiny spot on top of forehead, cannot see with wig that looks like a firing flaw. Fingers are not broken or chipped; Antique outfit includes shirt and pants, pants have a tear on one leg (see image). Old socks and new reproduction antique shoes. Little guy displays well and would be a nice addition to a doll collection. Any questions please ask!
