Here we have three beautifully done Jemez Pottery Jars. All three pieces are signed the bigger one 2" tall x 2 1/4" across is signed G. Sandia and the smaller vase 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/4" across is signed L. Toledo and the last one 1 1/8" tall x 1 5/8" across. The last one is signed but i can't make it out. All three are really nice pieces. There is a few scuff marks, but no chips, cracks or repairs. Please see all photos for complete condition and description. Once a vessel is completed... and fired successfully, the Jemez potters strongly believe that it has a life. If the vessel cracks in firing, then it was meant to be. One never assumes a successful firing and a potter does not set a price on an item before it is completed because that could result in a bad outcome.
