A wonderful Georgian acrostic ring, the first letter of each foiled back gemstone spells out the popular romantic sentiment REGARD. Set with a central rose cut diamond and set with additional garnet, amethyst, emerald, and ruby. The ring dates from the early 19th Century, circa 1830, stones set in Pansy flower shape. It is on a later, probably early 20th century 18...K gold hallmarked band. There is one gemstone missing- probably a ruby. There is a repair to the shoulder. A wonderful project to be restored to its full glory.
