Antique 19th Century American Blown Glass Cake Cover Cloche Dome 12-3/16" diameter with rolled lip and bulbous applied knob finial. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This is a wonderful 19th century American blown glass cake, donut, or cloche dome with rolled lip and bulbous applied knob finial. This large dome measures approximately 12-3/16" in diameter at the rolled lip. It stands approximately 9-1/2" high to the top of the bulbous applied knob finial. It is in... absolutely beautiful estate condition with NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs, NO cloudiness, NO sickness, and NO restorations. It shows period appropriate characteristics of trapped air bubbles and striations in the glass, along with only minor, age appropriate surface wear of subtle scratches, which should go unmentioned, but is offered for complete accuracy.
