This is a beautiful dark rich brown petrified wood slab. It has been sliced from a nearly perfectly round log from Utah. The entire circumference still shows the natural wood's texture. There are fine crystals in some of the delicate crevasses that aren't visible in the photos. This slice also has an unusual feature near the middle on one side. See photos. It has been sliced to 1/2". Could be used as a trivet as well as home decor or even your own creation. It is unpolished bu...t is very smooth. The usual marks where if breaks from the saw have been ground and smoothed off. Measures 10" x 9 1/4" x 1/2" thick. Weighs 3lbs, 3 oz.
