In this listing, I am offering a trio of primitive snowmen that I have tucked inside of a handmade wood box. The snowman arrangement would look delightful sitting in the center of your holiday table or on top of an old cupboard or dry sink. The box of snowmen can be placed anywhere you would like a bit of Christmas or Winter cheer!
The three snowmen are made out of brushed flannel homespun and have been stuffed firmly. I color washed t...he snowmen with Antique White paint mixed with a tea stain. They have dried to have a bit of an aged appearance. They have french knots for their eyes and mouths. They have tiny painted wood noses. Their "stovepipe" hats have been entirely created by hand and are hand stitched to their heads. Their "buttons" are real cloves. They each have a different scarf with a rusty bell pinned to the tie. Including their hats, the snowmen measure about 10-1/2" tall.
I have placed the snowmen inside of a handmade wood box that I purchased a few weeks ago at a barn sale. Please note that the box is solid wood and does weigh a bit....but I thought the snowmen fit perfectly inside! The box measures about 12" long by 5" deep by 5-1/4" tall. It has a bit of a decorative edge around the top.
I have nestled the snowmen in natural straw excelsior and add a few sprigs of faux pine greenery and red berry stems around the snowmen.
