Pair, Vintage Western Electric Type 106A Amplified Speakers

You are bidding on a pair of Western Electric Type 106A Loudspeakers (amplifier speakers). They are in original condition, and probably from the 1960s. They are the first type manufactured, with metal cabinets, as later ones were plastic. They are untested, but I am sure the speakers inside are good, but the electronics could be bad. They came from an AT&T longline facility. I removed the back on one to take interior photos. The other has some gu...nk from a melted component inside. In size they measure roughly 5 1/2 inches wide, 4 5/8 inches deep, and 6 inches tall. They should be great for your audioproject. Shipping weight is 12 pounds, but with minimal packing they can be shipped in a medium flat rate box. Please see my other auctions for moreinteresting radio and audio items, and tubes.
