Original Description:
  This was the Red Cross uniform of Margaret Halsey Gearing, "Peggy, " she was the daugher of Wallis Gearing and Margaret Grandy Gearing .  Peggy was born in San Diego, Calif., and lived as a child in Panama, Shanghai, Annapolis and other naval bases in the States. She graduated from the Bishop's School in La Jolla, Calif., and later attended Sweet Briar College, class of 1942. She loved to remember her adventures serving in the Red Cross in Antwerp, Belgium in 1945; among he...r duties were helping to reunite families in war-torn Europe. she married Henry Taylor Wickham and they lived  in Richmond Virginia, Peggy died July 23, 2013 at the age of 91
- Original, vintage WWII US Women's American Red Cross Uniform that consists of (1) Jacket and (2) Skirts- Color: Blue/Grey color- Fabric: Wool 
- Condition: fair used condition. No rips, tears but some moth damage. - Jacket includes: (1) American Red Cross Service patch on left shoulder. Jacket has all (4) metal Red Cross Buttons, plus (1) on each pocket and on epaulettes, (total 10) Jacket is lined.
- Skirts are 6 gore with (1) side pocket and (1) side zipper. Skirts are not lined.
- Measurements (measured flat):     - Jacket:             Shoulder to Shoulder: 16.5"            Chest (arm pit to arm pit): 19.5"            Length (under back collar to hem): 25"
     - Skirt:             Waist: 13.5"            Length: 27.5"            Sweep: 29"
