Original Description:
~ Early Oak and Cast Iron Wall Mount Coat Rack ~
Oak wood backing measures 21" long and 4.5" wide. When mounted, protrudes from wall approx. 6.5". All 3 cast iron brackets in place, strong, secure, no cracks, 1 small break at bottom of the right bracket. (see pic 10 & 11)Nice dark patina on all three hooks. The oak wood dowel running through the hooks in strong and secure, rolls but does not pull out. Somewhere along it's life, there have been the placement o...f newer screws to secure the hooks to the oak backing (see pics). Doesn't take away from the overall authenticity of the piece, just mentioning for accuracy. Please view all pictures as they best describe this piece. Wonderful early piece for any part of the home. Such a primitive look. Thank you for viewing my listings.
