The Kansas River has been high for a while but when it recedes sometimes only for a couple of days, new landscapes appear in the river channel from sand, mud, ...and stone. At the East Kansas River where this stone was found there is alluvial and glacial till sand and stone still a half mile deep in some places. This stone is good for collection, display, study, or other purpose.
