Offering this wonderful, rare Seal Soda Company, Inc. advertising calendar. It is from 1944 and reflects sentiments during World War II by featuring a print entitled, "Angel of Mercy" after a painting by Roy Best. The print shows a girl dressed as a Red Cross nurse tending to a puppy. There is a message under the tearaway calendar explaining the significance of the image. The calendar is complete. This has been stored rolled for many years and as a result it wants to stay rolled and wi...ll likely need to be framed or pinned to display flat, but there are no pinholes or creasing. It has some smudges around the edges and around the calendar and staple holes with small tears around the staple holes. The staples will slide out easily, but obviously are just as easy to put back in. There is age-related toning on the back, but as you can see it is overall clean, complete and in good condition with good color. Measures 20" x 14". (Because it already rolls tightly on its own, it will be shipped rolled.)
