Beautifully cast with magnificent enamelling. In brilliant condition alike many fine art period pieces. Market prices are difficult to research, I can only find one for sale at 1stDibs.com at £1200.
I'd be fully intending to keep this if I was in the position to so hopefully that shows to some degree how beautiful the inkwell really is.
I can't pin down any maker but the style looks like to be from a member of the Glasgow School famously headed by Charles Rennie Mackin...tosh.
