Cypraea Cribraria #5) 36.1mm, Linnaeus 1758, GIANT CHOICE XL BEAUTY. Found Olango Island, Philippines, by a diver in 10-20 meters of water. Scott Johnson has some fabulous photos of live cribrarias in the wild on his website on Kwajalein, breathtaking both for how beautiful the shell is, and for the fact that he found one he could take photos of, the lucky stiff! I really don't recommend looking up his site though, because you'll lose hours ...looking at all of his terrific photos of shells, very extensive and easy to navigate thru, plus, well, it just hits you that he got to see all those things, but you didn't! Truly amazing! Anyhow, as the photos show, this beauty is a very nice, dark giant that will look wonderful on your shelf!The perfect shell for a first-rate collection...

As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!As for feedback, as your know, sellers live and die by the feedback you leaved, (please leave fives!) so if you have a problem, just let me know!
