A used Sturmey Archer Sportshift Wood Knob 3-Speed muscle bike shifter. These shifters were used Raleigh Rodeo muscle bikes in the 60's and 70's. The shifter has the 1/2 inch back clamp for twin top tube muscle bikes. The shifter is used but in great condition with NOS shifter cover, back mounting plate, shifter screws, white cable, and white axle cap. It shifts great with no play in the handle at all. The chrome on the shifter arm, base, and back clamp are very nice, with the shifter ...arm having some slight peppering from having some corrosion. Also, the back of the shift arm has a heavy wear spot on the back side by the pointer from use. The wood shift knob is complete and in decent shape but it has some wear on the front edges by the foil decal. I cleaned and refinished the knobs a bit and added reproduction SA foil stickers from bcrawf1 on eBay. Includes and original Sturmey Archer Sportshift white cable, universal cable anchor, and white Sturmey Archer axle cap. Perfect for an original bike or for your best restoration.
