You are bidding on a piece made by ORTEGA's WEAVING SHOP in CHIMAYO, NEW MEXICO. The tag states this item is 100% wool and hand woven. It could be used as a rug, or a wall hanging or it could have been possibly been a throw blanket but I don't think so because the weave is very thick like meant for a rug. It measures about 48x36 inches without the fringe. It has the same pattern on both sides featuring a girl or corn maiden wearing a red and gray dress with 2 st...alks of corn on either side of her. The base color is an off-white and it has fringe running vertically on each side. This item is sold "AS IS" with no warranty expressed or implied and no returns accepted. It is pre-owned and shoes some wear, including dirt, and a few small holes which you can see some photos of. It is still a very gorgeous piece in average condition and worthy of display and I haven't seen any like it in a long time. No smoke/tobacco or other odors. This comes from a pet free environment.
