Gorgeous vintage glass cut crystal jewelry box casket style. Heavy weight crystal glass is cut in a stunnning diamond point design on every surface but the base. Base has a starburst cut into it. Top is hinged and domed. There is decorative brass or ormolu hardware rimming the opening and the hinges. There is a feather patterned escutcheon, no key. Measures 5 1/2" long x 4" wide x 5" tall. Very good condition with some light wear consistent with age and use, particularly a few scuffs a...nd scratches on the base. Just a magnificent piece. Add it to your collection.
