we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfera very fine & rare example of an early tudric art nouveau pewter ink well, in fact one of the earlier recorded tudric pieces illustrated design 0141 and designed by archibald knox, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham f...or the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range, marked to the base with the design number 0164, this dating it to around 1904 and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the pewter is a polished condition with only minor loss to the wonderful knox honesty & entrelac design to the turret section of the body, lifting the flip up lid reveals the ceramic ink reservoir, this is in good order with only a tiny chip to the edge (see image 5), the overall condition is excellent so a really fine and impressive display piece with its futuristic flying saucer design, it measures 5.5" in diameter across the base and 4" tall , if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you
