we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfera fantastic example of an early tudric art nouveau pewter tea tray, in fact one of the earlier recorded tudric pieces illustrated design 0231 and designed by archibald knox, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the libe...rty & co tudric & cymric pewter & silver ware ranges, fully marked with the design number 0231, this dating to around 1904 and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, the pewter is in a polished condition with absolutely no loss to the wonderful knox honesty & entrelac designs which adorn the tray to either side of the handles at each end of the tray, the planished finish seems to shimmer in the light when moved, it is a very large and heavy piece measuring 19.5" (49cm) by 14.5" (36cm) and weighing near 4kg unpacked and this is reflected in the shipping costs, the overall condition is superb so a wonderful and impressive display piece, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
