Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco three (3) nude 1920's flapper ladies alabaster jewelry or trinket box with lid from San Francisco Estate. Made in Germany. It is absolutely exquisite! Just can't capture its true beauty with the camera. These wonderful deco ladies have 1920's flapper hairdos, they are sitting back on their feet while holding one hand out in front of them, and the other hand is on their knee. They have excellent detail and the the ...box has beautiful filigree work. The overall measurement is 10" long from one lady to the other (the box alone is 6-1/2" wide), and it measures 5-1/2" tall. These beautiful deco ladies are made of some kind of metal with a gold gilt finish - a magnet will not stick to them. The box is made of alabaster with gold metal filigree work on side and top and it has a ball finial on top. It is quite heavy and weighs about 10 lbs. This gorgeous piece is signed "Made in Germany" on the bottom of one lady (see picture). The condition is amazingly very good - shows wear but no chips, breaks, cracks, or repairs. The estimated value was $450.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $195.00. This fabulous deco lady box came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage.
