THE LONE RANGER on his radio show, would devote a year to a story line that featured a PREMIUM. This was one of those.
I well remember the day that I received my LONE RANGER ATOM BOMB RING after sending for it from his show. I got into a closet, waited for my eyes to adjust to the dark, pulled off the red fin and put the ring up to my eye. It was AMAZING !, it looked like small EXPLOSIONS inside.
THIS PREMIUM WAS [THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AND LONG RUNNING PREMIUM EVER.] L...ong after the ring was not longer offered on the show, it was offered on boxes of KIX CEREAL. Here is a full page Tabloid Ad showing some of the boxes. The Box with The Lone Ranger on the box are extremely valuable. I sold one in VF for
$1, 700.00.
