Up for auction is an 100% guaranteed authentic Atomic Bomb roof tile from Hiroshima. This is the largest intact roof tile I have seen since I have been collecting these tiles. You can clearly see the distinctive curvature of the Kawara tile. The piece was recovered from the Motoyasu river which flows through the center Hiroshima in 1981. The roof tile survived the 5000 degrees and left these black boiling dots on the surface. These dots are the result of the 'glaze' which boiled instan...tly and thus a distinctive characteristic of the atomic bomb.This is a safe item, however please handle it with care, far reach from children etc.
