VINTAGEJAPANESE NORITAKE PORCELAIN MORIMURA VASE 2-SIDED HAND PAINTED OKURAWHITE BLUE ROYAL CROCKERY DECORThisvintage Japanese piece is beautiful, gilt porcelain, hand painted, Okura white and blue, Morimura vase by Noritake Royal Crockery. The lovely cobolt blue and white vase has anelegant form with a cupid and genie design and a radiant shine (seeimages). The vase is white porcelain dressed with Okura white swirl andgold gilt (see images). A vivid cobalt blue ...backdrop highlights the Okurawhite cupid cherub centerpiece. . The vase is circa 1930's and madefor export to Asian markets. It is stamp on its bottom in red with "Noritake Japan" and the RoyalCrockery with laurel leaves emblem (see images). The olpe urn-shaped vasemeasures ~ 6 1/4" H x 5" W in diameter and weighs 1 lb. The toprim measures ~ 2 7/8" in diameter and the vase rest on a 3 7/8"pedestal base. This authentic piece isin good cosmetic condition with some small chips on the Okura and gold gilt anda few surface swirls but it is is not cracked or damaged and the interior isclean (see images).
