DESCRIPTION:(3916)This listing is for a vintage L.C. #28-4mm (WEST GERMANY) straight gouge style wood chisel.This No. 28-4 chisel is 7 1/2" long.The original handle is 4 1/4” long with no cracks present.The cast steel shaft is 3 1/4” long.The cutting edge is about 3/16” wide with no chipping present.The cutting edge may have to be reshaped.The metal has light staining / corrosion present.Total weight is 1.2 Oz.Original "CABOOSE" store sticker remains attached.No previous owner’...s name or initials are present.Light clean up may be necessary.Purchased at a gunsmith’s estate sale!!!A great addition to any serious woodworking shop!!!
